Do your hot sauces contain artificial preservatives?
Nope! All of our recipes are vinegar-based, which brings the pH of the sauces to safe and shelf-stable levels. We also incorporate natural citric acid and Vitamin C to enhance product stability. The FDA certifies our products with a 2 year shelf life.
For the hot sauce enthusiasts, the pH of our sauces all measure under 3.3.
Do your hot sauces need to be refrigerated?
We recommend refrigerating after opening, but it is not necessary. Refrigeration will maintain the flavor, color, and texture of the sauces longer than if left at room temperature. Feel free to keep them right next to the other hot sauce bottles in your pantry!
Do you offer local pickup?
Bottles can be now purchased locally on Main Street in Ventura, CA at SpiceTopia! Skip the online order and purchase directly in person. Stock is limited, so it's best to call ahead and confirm availability.

What is xanthan gum?
Xanthan gum is a thickener commonly found in a variety of shelf-stable products. It is a byproduct of fermentation, much like alcohol, cheese, and vinegar. We pair high quality xanthan gum with organic rice bran oil in our recipes to deliver a smoother texture and the perfect pour.
We add MSG to develop a more savory profile in all of our sauces. It makes things delicious! The xenophobic stigma surrounding MSG was created in the 1960's, and despite a plethora of studies debunking the myth, many today still view it as unacceptable. KFC, Campbell's, Heinz, and Hidden Valley Ranch are examples of other American companies actively using this flavor enhancer in their products. It's not just Asian chefs anymore!
"I think MSG is good stuff ... You know what causes Chinese restaurant syndrome? Racism" - Anthony Bourdain
Where is your sauce manufactured?
We have enlisted the services of a high quality co-packing facility near our home base in Southern California. We chose this co-packer specifically based on their many years of experience in the industry and their track record of producing quality products for other reputable companies. All of our sauces are stored and shipped directly from their warehouse to minimize handling and ensure the quickest delivery to our customers.
What is your return and refund policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of receiving your order. Bottles must be unopened and in original condition. Refunds are subject to approval.
